Giuseppe Asaro (IT/CH)
Coreografo/Danzatore/Coach/Insegnante/Terapista
Nato in Italia nel 1969
Da piu’ di 30 anni si occupa di Danza, come danzatore e Coreografo.
insegnante di varie discipline , dalla Danza contemporanea al Teatro Fisico.
Arricchisce la propria esperienza formandosi come insegnante della Contact improvisation, pratictioner del Metodo Feldenkrais e terapista Craniosacrale (Upledger Institut).
Si trasferisce nel 1995 a Roma dove ha lavorato con numerose compagnie di danza Contemporanea e teatrodanza, collaborando con numerosi coreografi e registi Teatrali.
Contemporaneamente ha svolto un’intensa attività di danzatore e Performer in raduni internazionali di Contact-Improvisation, collaborando con i Pioneri a Roma per creare le basi dell’attuale RomaContactImprovisation.
Nel 2007 si trasferisce in svizzera(Ticino), collaborando circa 10 anni con la Coreografa Ticinese Tiziana Arnaboldi,sostenendo la nascita della compagnia Giovani fondatosi nel 2010.
In Ticino incontra l’artista Thomas Mettler e insieme creano le basi per la Contact Improvisation in ticino, attraverso classi, workshop e performance (www.ci-ticino.ch).
Nel 2011 collabora con il regista Luca Spadaro (Teatro d’Emergenza),come Insegnante,Danzatore e Coach per le produzioni.
Insieme hanno sperimentato la possibilità di un incontro creativo sul confine delle rispettive arti: da un lato la Danza, dall’altro il teatro di prosa, in mezzo lo spazio per costruire una storia a partire dal corpo.
Ha Collaborato con il MAT (Scuola di teatro a Lugano), sia come insegnante sia come coach per gli Attori.
Nel 2014 durante L’inaugurazione dell’apertura del LAC Lugano, presenta “SOLITUDINI” un progetto partorito a Casa Anatta (museo monte verità Ascona).
Nel 2016 presenta “Un Vuoto Spazio” sovvenzionato dal cantone e viene selezionato per la Borsa Svizzera degli spettacoli a Thun.
Attualmente continua la sua ricerca “La Struttura che Connette” a partire dal corpo per arrivare all’arte creativa e performativa .

Born in Italy in 1969
For over 30 years he has been working in the field of dance, as a dancer and choreographer.
He is a teacher of various disciplines, from contemporary dance to physical theatre.
He enriches his experience by training as a teacher of contact improvisation, practitioner of the Feldenkrais Method and Craniosacral therapist (Upledger Institut).
In 1995 he moved to Rome where he worked with numerous companies of contemporary dance and dance theater, collaborating with numerous choreographers and theater directors.
At the same time, he has carried out an intense activity of dancer and Performer in international meetings of Contact-Improvisation, collaborating with the Pioneri in Rome to create the basis of the current RomaContactImprovisation.
In 2007 he moved to Switzerland (Ticino), collaborating for about 10 years with the Ticino choreographer Tiziana Arnaboldi, supporting the birth of the Young Company founded in 2010.
In Ticino he meets the artist Thomas Mettler and together they create the basis for Contact Improvisation in Ticino, through classes, workshops and performances (www.ci-ticino.ch).
In 2011 he collaborated with the director Luca Spadaro (Teatro d’Emergenza), as a teacher, dancer and coach for the productions.
Together they experimented with the possibility of a creative encounter on the border of their respective arts: on the one hand the Dance, on the other hand the prose theatre, in the middle of the space to build a story from the body.
He has collaborated with the MAT (School of Theatre in Lugano), as a teacher and as a coach for the actors.

He is currently continuing his research on “The Structure that Connects”, starting with the body and ending with creative and performing art.
